Introduction

Daniel’s Prophecy of the 70 Weeks

“Sevens” refers to a period of time that lasts 7 years.
1 Year in the O.T. and the Jewish calendar lasts 360 days.
“Decreed” refers to something being “cut out”, set apart.

God has cut out 490 years (70 * 7) or 176,400 days out of the historical calendar to deal specifically with Israel and Jerusalem.

The Great Tribulation: A Plausible Timeline

Based on a Dispensational Premillennialism view of the end times which is defined as:

“Belief that Israel and the Church are two separate peoples of God; the Rapture of the Church before the Great Tribulation; and God fulfilling His promises to Israel through the thousand-year earthly reign of Christ.”
