I. The Matter of Widows (5:1-16)

Principle: We Honor God When We Take Good Care of Each Other.
Application: How are you dealing with your parents who need your help? Are you taking good care of them? How are you honoring them? How are you dealing with those in need at your church?

II. The Matter of Elders (5:17-25)

Principle: We Honor God when We Honor His Servant Leaders.
Application: How are you supporting and encouraging those who minister at your church? Are you actively making sure they are well compensated by your systematic giving?

III. The Matter of Slaves and Masters (6:1-2)

Principle: We Honor God When Serve and Submit to those in Authority Over Us.
Application: How are you treating those who have authority over you at work? Are you serving them well? Are you serving them like you would serve Christ?
