I. External Evidence (I John 3:11-18)

Principle: Loving actions for other believers are the external evidence of God’s love in us.
Application: What is the most loving thing another believer has done for you? What is the most loving thing you have done for another believer?

II. Internal Evidence (I John 3:19-24)

Principle: The Holy Spirit confirms to us that we are in the family of God.
Application: What assurances are you receiving from the Holy Spirit regarding God’s love for you?
