For today’s lesson we have an introduction to our next study: “Transformed From the Inside Out” from the book of Titus.
The study of Titus is Volume 2 in our series “Life in the Church: A Study of the Pastoral Epistles“.
The Apostle Paul wrote 3 letters to his faithful learners and co-laborers Timothy and Titus. We know those letters as I & II Timothy and Titus.
Paul was providing pastoral instruction to these young men so they would know how to shepherd and lead their respective congregations.
In doing so however, he also discussed how life in the church is supposed to function and what our roles as members of the church ought to be.
We have 3 studies in this series and we are taking them in the order they occurred historically:
- I Timothy: Learning to Behave in Church
- Titus: Transformed From the Inside Out
- 2 Timothy: Passing on a Godly Legacy
Let’s get started with an introduction to the book of Titus.
