The LORD is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.

II. David’s Plea (Psalm 56:7-11)
- Principle: When we are afraid we should respond with faith that seeks God’s help.
- Application: How much have you prayed to God over your current problems and fears?

Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

III. David’s Promise (Psalm 56:12-13)
- Principle: When God honors our faith we should praise Him.
- Application: How will your pay your vows of praise and thanksgiving to God for His deliverance?

Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name.
