I. The Cleansing of Joshua (Zechariah 3:1-7)

  • Principle: God Cleanses His People from Sin so that they Can Walk in His Ways.
  • Application: How have you experienced the cleansing of the Lord? How does it encourage you to know the Lord defends you against Satan’s accusations?
  • Scripture Reference

12 So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience;
13 bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you.
14 Beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity.
Colossians 3:12-14 (NASB)

“Behold, the days are coming,” declares the Lord, “When I will raise up for David a righteous Branch;
And He will reign as king and act wisely And do justice and righteousness in the land.
“In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will dwell securely;
And this is His name by which He will be called, ‘The Lord our righteousness.’
