- Principle: God’s People Choose Abiding with the LORD Above All Things.
- Application: How is your life showing that you have a desire to dwell intimately with God?
- Scripture Reference
4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me.
5 I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.
John 15:4-5 (NASB)
II. God’s Choice of David and Zion (132:10-18)
- Principle: God Has Chosen His People to Abide with Him Forever.
- Application: How are you encouraged knowing today that God has chosen you to be in an everlasting intimate relationship with Him?
- Scripture Reference
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,
4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Or Him, in love Him. In love
5 He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will
Ephesians 1:3-5 (NASB)
